DUBLIN, Ireland - Irish band The Script not only ensured that their ardent fans in Dublin were well entertained at their gig at the 3Arena - but also made sure that hundreds of their fans, who were waiting in line in the chilly weather, were well fed.
The Irish band, which played a sold-out gig in the 3Arena on Friday night as part of their Freedom Child Tour, put on a grand show for their fans.
However, considering that several of their fans had braved the cold weather and queued from early in the evening to get into the concert, Danny, Mark and Glen took it upon themselves to keep the excitement going and came out to give the fans a lovely surprise.
The band members surprised unsuspecting fans with pizza, on a day celebrated as National Pizza Day.
One fan was quoted as saying in local reports, “They came out and everyone was kind of amazed! Everyone was just looking at Danny and he came around with the Dominos pizzas and was saying to everyone ‘Share that won’t you?’ I was absolutely shocked it was so nice of them to do it. They honestly are the nicest people to their fans and even with the crowd last night they were amazing!”
Before the show, the band picked up a Lifetime Membership of The Law Society of University College Dublin.
